Congrats Tyra!
BOBBY BROWN TELL-ALL

Speaking of Bobby Brown, The Huffington Post and other source report that Brown is thinking about releasing a tell-all book on his late wife, Whitney Houston, just 2 weeks after her death. Apparently, he’d tried to sell a book about their life together in 2008 but couldn’t generate enough interest.
I hope this is not true. If it is, I don’t think it'll sell well. I know I wouldn’t buy it.
AS BREEZY’S WORLD TURNS

His high from winning a Grammy has been short lived. This week, Chris Brown had a blogger offer $1,000 for someone to beat him up and a fan filed a police report against him for snatching her phone. The later incident occurred in Miami, as he was leaving a club. The fan tried to snap a picture of Chris with her IPhone. She says he told her that she wouldn’t be putting it on the Internet and snatched the phone.
I guess it’s too much to ask that Chris mellow out. I think he’s a long way from that. Think Bobby Brown. Chris reminds me a lot of Bobby. I wonder if he and Rhianna will turn into the 2012 Bobby and Whitney. As it is, more people are convinced that they will get back together soon. Oh, well. See you next time on As Breezy's World Turns.
WHITNEY HOUSTON'S HOMEGOING

Whitney Houston's funeral will be televised today at 11:30am on several stations. The channels covering the private gathering of Houston's closest friends and family are CNN, MSNBC, BET, Centric and E!. CNN started their coverage early. Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, Denzel Washington, and Kevin Costner are among the people who will be there to celebrate the late star's life. The last time a star's funeral was publicized was a few years ago when Michael Jackson passed.
ONE MOMENT IN TIME - WHITNEY HOUSTON
This has always been my favorite Whitney Houston song. It's such a testament to the human spirit's ability to overcome obstacles and make themselves the very best. Although Whitney was not able to overcome all of her obstacles, hearing her sing this song still gives me chills. RIP Whitney.
WHITNEY HOUSTON'S AUTOPSY

Although an autopsy has been performed on Whitney Houston, the coroner is not releasing the details as of now. The singer is said to have been found in the bathtub under water in her Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel. Prescription drugs were found in her room. She died just hours before her scheduled performance at a Pre-Grammy party. Meanwhile, her daughter, Bobbi Kristina was just released from the hospital. According to ABCNews.com, she was treated "for stress and anxiety" after news of Houston's death.
To say that this news is sad is an understatement. I don't know anybody that saw this coming. I honestly thought that if she could make through her darkest days of drug addiction (think Michael Jackson's anniversary special) that she could make it to old age. It's so weird that every time a performer of this magnitude dies it feels wrong, even though we know we can't have them forever. It's another reminder to make the absolute most of your life. My condolences go out to her family.
DON CORNELIUS DEAD

This week, we lost the Soul Train pioneer Don Cornelius. 75 years old Cornelius suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. According to Huffington Post, he’d had health issues dating back to the 1980s, when he underwent brain surgery.
His family has my condolences. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of someone around his age committing suicide due to health issues. Be grateful for your health, everyone.
X-FACTOR FIRINGS

I guess most should have seen this coming. Whenever something is not working, there has to be a fall guy or girl. Or two. For Ex-Factor, Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones took the fall. Various sources have sited issues with the judges, particularly the female judges. Now, they have to look for two more.
I think they should consider two different personalities. I’m not saying that Nicole and Paula were exactly the same but they seemed like the same type of woman: sensitive, emotional, ultra girly. Ex-Factor has to switch that up.
