Comedienne Wanda Sykes revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that doctors discovered there was a chance she would develop breast cancer. As a precaution, Sykes opted to have a double mastectomy to decrease her chances. She also said she discovered she had a lot of cases of the illness on her mother's side of the family.

It's a good thing she went to the doctor. We all have to stay on top of our health.

According to various sources, disgraced actor/California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says he's writing a memoir. The second autobiography, acquired by Simon & Schuster, is set to be released October 2012. He plans to talk his years in body building, as well as his years in politics. He will also touch on his marriage to Maria Schriver.

This week, news broke that Ray J. and Fabulous got into a physical altercation after the Mayweather/Ortiz fight. Apparently, Ray was upset over some things he thought Fab said about him over Twitter. TMZ posted some footage of the fight on their website.

I guess the Mayweather/Ortiz fight was so good they felt the need to demonstrate.

For some reason, artists are throwing more shine to Marvin Gaye now. First Drake, now Big Sean. Anywho, here is Sean's (partial) ode to the late singer.

This week, Bossip reported that Swiss Beatz may be cheating on new wife Alicia Keys. The woman in question is Christina Elizabeth, whom Beatz met in 2007. She’s said to be the initial reason for the producer separating from his first wife, Mashonda. Later this week, Elizabeth issued a statement confirming that she did have an affair with Beatz during his first marriage and that she’s been sexting with him while he’s been married to Keys. Beatz and Keys have denied it on Twitter. They have a son, Egypt, together and famously became a couple amongst rumors that they started an affair while Beatz was still with married.

Stories like this amaze me. You know why? Cuz they never change. It’s always the same thing over and over again. Just different people. Nobody learns anything from these situations. Anyway, for the child involved, I hope this is not true.

I recently heard this on the radio. It immediately reminded me of old school R&B. The message is the same ole, same ole but when I kept listening it was okay.

Leo O'Brien, former child star from The Last Dragon, was shot in the stomach and arm last week after an altercation over a chair. He has since been released from the hospital and is doing a lot better.

Glad to hear he's doing better.

According to various sources, that’s what Jacqueline Kennedy thought of Civil Rights hero Dr. Martin Luther King. She came to this conclusion after hearing FBI tapes where King allegedly tried to set up a sex party while in Washington for a march. She said from then on she couldn’t look at a picture of him without seeing him as a phony.

All I can say is *shrug* Seriously, it’s been well documented that King had various “extracurricular activities,” including an affair that lasted several years. So, to be honest, not much that people report about this man surprises me. With that said, I do not think that these imperfections in King’s character nullify his efforts to make America a better place for African Americans.

Looks like Shaquille O’Neal was telling the truth. According to TMZ, Robert Ross, the man that claimed 7 gang members beat him to a pulp to get a sex tape he had with Shaq and multiple women, had his case thrown out. During the preliminary hearing, Ross admitted that he had no Shaq sex tape. Shaq has denied the tape from the beginning.

Note to money hungry people: find more creative ways to make money. You might want to stay out of the court system.

It's great that Oprah is embracing technology. This little event might help her come up with ideas to help her OWN network.

This week, news spread from various sources that rapper T.I. would be released to a halfway house to finish his 11 month sentence. Yet, because of a communication glitch, he was detained again. The confusion involved the means in which he would be released. Reportedly, T.I. told them that he would be transported to the halfway house by a van. When the day came, he was picked up by a tour bus. Apparently, the ward had a problem with it and ordered him back.

And the saga continues...

I didn't expect this to happen so soon. According to various sources, Jada Pinkett-Smith's 3 year show, HawthoRNe has been canceled. TNT and Jada released statements about the cancellation. This all comes about a week after InTouch magazine printed a story that Jada and her superstar husband, Will Smith, are seperated. Since then, rumors have spread that Jada is involved in an "inappropriate" friendship with her co-star Marc Anthony, which all parties deny.

I didn't watch Jada's show. Nonetheless, I'm sorry to see the show canceled.
